    02 GPR12R Fuel pickup.

Does anyone have a picture of a 02 GP12R fuel pickup?
I disconnected mine and pulled apart the two rubber seals. Unfortunately I can't seem to work out how they go back together and the manual doesn't have enough detail of how they fit.

    Here's what I have.

Does anyone have a pic of how it should be?

Hi mate, I don't think you're gonna like this but as I understand if you split the rubber seal it is impossible to put it back together. Try search the forum maybe it has been done but I don't like your chances. Here's a pic of the sender with the seal fitted.

Thanks. I figured it was bad luck that it fitted flush with the top. Unfortunately it just doesn't sit nicely in this position. I've tried holding it with a big cable tie and that's doesn't work.

I'll see if I can get the correct size ear clamp (O clamp) and get that to hold. I have no idea what happened to the original one. As an interesting side note when I pulled the sender out both the mesh screen and the flap aren't there. I've owned the ski since new and I've never pulled them out.

Don't worry about the flap, but the mesh screen should be there its the first filter. Siphon your tank and check the bottom you may have a couple of extra parts in there. Now is a good time to check it out.

Had a look around in the tank and couldn't hear anything moving, nor could I see anything when looking with a mirror.
No idea where they went, mabye it's an Aussie model thing not having them, or maybe the dealer ripped them off predelivery.

Managed to find an oetiker clamp and get it back together.

Now to put some fresh fuel/oil in and hopefully get the ski running. Haven't used it in five years.
