    Les Cooke Fogging System

    http://www.seadoocentre.com/foggingkit.htm

I relize that this subject has been covered a few times in the past but I'm curious to see how many people are actually using this product or one that they have made on their own and if it actually helps. It seems like a great solution to the 04 and 05 RXP valve problems but I would think it would be a much more talked about product if it was something that would help prevent those costly valve failures that the 04 and 05's suffer from. So what do you guys think? Is it something that could help prevent these exhaust valve failures or is it just 60 bucks down the drain..?

So many spray the lube while the engine is running but don't realise that it should only b cranking and not kicking over.
Personally I still doubt the lube will get to the ex valves but better then nothing I guess.

I made my own and I use after riding. Seems to work well. I don't know how much is actually meeting on the valves but I do know that it smokes pretty good when you first fire it up. So oil must be getting in the cylinders. I spray into the fogging line until it starts smoking and the engine starts missing. Usually takes about ten seconds.

the Les system dips the long tube into some mineral 2 stroke oil and is pulled into the manifold

How many of you use fogging oil vs the two stroke mineral oil? Don't know if it'd make much difference just as long as the valves are getting coated. Also does anyone have some specs of one that they have made and or some pictures to go along with em? Seems like a fairly easy system to put together.

Here is the one I made. I usually use foging oil since it makes less of a mess than dipping the hose in a jug of oil. Click image for larger version.
