Help with sticky start button on 2003 GTX 4 tec

Hi. I bought a used 4 tec and the red start button gets stuck down alot so I can't start it without prying it back up with a screwdriver. I've tried grease, light oil, WD-40. took it apart, cleaned it. It seems I have to buy a new one. Does anyone have suggestions? Is there aftermarket start buttons?

    Thanks, Rick

When I took mine off to install the UMI Steering kit, it seems like there is no moving parts in there to wear out?
The actual button sealed in the orange case pushes in and out, make sure it is not in upside down,
The little plastic nib or raised peice gets centered in the middle of the red button,
