Virage TX - How much fuel & water line do I need?

    Hi guys,
I'm thinking of changing my fuel lines & water lines in my 2001 Virage TX. Has anyone any idea how much of each I need to totally replace all the hoses?
To the nearest metre would be great.
    Thanks in advance.

I just buy a roll of 25 feet (7.6 meters) for each ski. I really never check how much left after each ski but looks like I could almost cover 2 skis with one roll.

hi skiversinc, i know falmouth in cornwall well. your lucky to ski in waters like that!!!

ive just changed the fuel lines on a virage. i got loads of clear braided hose (6mm) cheep off ebay. works a treat, and easy to see fuel in the fuel lines. the plastic never perishes.

for fuel you need only 3 metres. i bought 5, and got loads left

Thanks for the reply. I'd go so far as to say it's the best place to ski in the UK, probably! If one coast is too flat, go to the other coast & vice versa. It's fantastic.
You didn't say whether the Virage you did was a 750 or a 1200 triple? Mine's a 1200 triple. Any idea on waterline?

sorry, yea the virage ive just done was a 700. but you will only need a tiny bit more fuel line for the 1200 tripple as the fuel lines run in series

no idea on water lengths, their is a few different diameters on the water hose. your best bet is to remove and measure up.

put some thought into what hoses you use, i chose the braided clear plastic for flexability and perish resistance. some of the waterlines on your ski are shape moulded. so just replaceing with straight rubber hose may be tricky. i suggest clear plastic.?

the best waters i can easily get too is plymouth/cornwall boarder. usually ski near torquay. but the closest water slip is weston-super-mare which has huge surf and max of two hours either side of tide, oh, and the water is like chocolate!
