If it is just clicking I would pull the jet pump and spark plugs and make sure the engine turns freely first. If it does, then I would try to jump the start solenoid to see if thats the problem, or if the starter is bad. Is your battery good? if it only clicks, that points to either the engine or jet pump being locked up, or a starter or solenoid problem. Pull the plugs and see if you can turn over the motor with your hand. If you cant turn it, pull the jet pump next. Has the ski been ridden in salt water?

The solenoid or the starter could be bad. Take the red cable from the solenoid that goes to the battery and connect it directly to the positive side of the battery. See if that spins the motor. Make sure the motor spins freely before trying that. The jet pump could have seized.

If the pump is locked up and you try it you will cook the starter or the solenoid or the battery.......make sure the motor spins before doing anything else.
