    Consumer feedback needed

I'm trying to get an idea on how much money people would be willing to spend on some new, aftermarket Polaris parts if they were made available. Also, how many people would actually buy these parts, even if they thought that they were priced very fair.

    Examples:

Aftermarket domestic intake manifolds, 2 way mounting.

    Wedges

    Nozzles with interchangable rings

Flame arrestor adapters tapered to match the Keihin carbs...

Stuff like that. I realize that we're a small market compared to the other brands out there, but do these sound like things that would sell enough to justify startup costs?

    Thank you.

    Gotcha Beer.

I didn't want to let your paticular cat out of the bag without your blessing.

Beer has some trick stuff coming down the road for you guys too.

His project differs from the one I'm talking about, but obliviously falls under the same category.

That's a great idea. Reading some of your posts Beer, I'm surprised it took you so long to ask this stuff...lol. I'd definitely be interested in a trim extension, alignment tool and a 6 or 8 degree wedge.

It's funny you mention this too becuase I was going to ask if you would make me a trim extension for me when I got that far...lol.

    Git 'r done!

What kind of extensions are needed? I have two inch cable extensions for the GPR 5mm thread for trim and 6mm thread for steering

Ok here's my take, Crazy, wedges are already available at reasonable pricing. Unless you're talking 6* which seems to be sought after and hard to find, maybe. I have Fuji engines so domestics don't apply to me. But, the Nozzle w/ replaceable rings I'd think about. Beerdart, you have my attention: Reed spacers yes, every 650&750 should want them. Used is tough to come by, and Boyesen wants $136 including hardware and gaskets. Alignment tool yes, every modder should have one in their toolbox. Cable and trim extensions yes, look how many people are going short to long pump and add your longer cooling tube for a kit. Now if someone could make the 4" extension/wear ring for the jet pump, every Polaris would have a BEER pump.
