2008 Sea-Doo RXP-X 80mph+
So basically a lot of this was from my old Open Class RXP. After a lightened 04 valve let go end of 2010 and took out a piston we decided to buy my buddy's RXP-X hull (currently the second owner of it) and completely rebuild the motor with new ferrea valves, Riva Pistons, etc. The motor and Les Cooke C-Kit Supercharger have 11.5 hours on them since the ski was rebuilt in July by my mechanic Mitch and total hours on the 2005 motor/electronics is 84.5 hours.
VA Registration good until July 2014 and have title in hand.
Includes OEM cover.
Will not include the pump I used as I will be keeping it. I can however try and locate an OEM pump.
Doesn't have VTS, but all you'd need to get one and turn it on in the ECU.
Always stored indoors and winterized
Supercharger Clutch Slip when last checked a few months ago was good and holding at 16ftlbs
Setup for pump gas and I always ran 93octane in it.
Doesn't include a trailer as of right now. I can probably find one or if someone buys this and the other RXP-X I'm selling I may throw in the triton elite double trailer they are both currently sitting on.
In race setup with the aftermarket 16vein pump I was using it ran around 80mph. With an OEM 10vein pump it would have a higher top end as the Rotax Racing pump is holding it back at least 2-3mph.
This is a pretty reliable setup for racing and can be used for light rec riding. With no charging system you will be limited on how long you can start/stop it. I would have about a good 2-3 hours of on/off riding before the battery would get too low to turn the engine over. I can have the charging put back on for whoever buys it if interested, but it will lose a bit of the snappy hit it has on bottom end. Other than that the only maintenance required is greasing the driveshaft seal after every ride, I always changed the oil about every 30 hours and checked the supercharger clutch slip every 15hours.
Here are two videos of this ski in action at a national tour event in Charleston, WV last August.
I've got roughly $12,000 in aftermarket and oem parts in this ski.
EDIT: Found the piece of paper that I used to write down the hours when we rebuilt it and it was at 73 total. So it now at 84.5 total which would be 11.5 hours on it since being put back together last July. Pictures were taken in December and the last time I rode them before being winterized was mid October.
