What is this part called? And does it need to be replaced?

Is it a pump chute? If it needs to be replaced, how much would one cost and how difficult is it to install one? My ski had a battle with a rock. The rock won.

That's your pump shoe - support. Just grind down all those fins, and be done with it. That's not worth the time & money to replace.

Nice! Sounds like a fun project! So what's the purpose of the fins?

To make you actually work on your ski after running through rocks

I would replace your neoprene seal as well.
While you have the pump out. Replace your steering nut and reverse nut. There is a guy on ebay that makes metal ones. Or I would even replace with the new White ones if anything from the dealer... But i recommend the metal ones.
