Wtd: crank for this 1100
This is a old wave raider that was raced by Greater Yamaha back in the day. It was owned by a friend of mine who passed away in a car accident in September. I'm trying to help out his little brother get these running and found the 1100 is locked up. The rear cylinder has rust in it. At this point I just don't know what to do with it ...... fix it or part it out. A rebuild will be at least 800 bucks and I just don't have the money or time to fool with it. The hull is epoxy resin and I also have a carbon fiber one that he bought before he died. If anybody has some CHEAP parts to help me out email me at email@example.com or would maybe like some parts off it if we part it out.

I am sorry for the loss of your friend, I should have stated that first, the engine cost could be a lot or could be just normal, either way ,you would need a crank, and possibly pistons, to hard to tell with out seeing the engine apart. The white hull is called an X-4........front of a SeaDoo and a redesigned rearlook at the rear of the white one compared to ours....., HANDLE AND SPEED............. I dont know if that ment he has 3 or two, I can see carbon hood on the purple one............how about that placement of the rear exhaust, I made mine and put it where they usually are on the back... but that is cool............

Thanks Bullraider, I miss him dearly, you just never know what someone means to you until they are gone. We had big plans for these hulls but everything is left open ended.
On a lighter note, There are two race hulls, the carbon fiber one is yellow. I think it is a old riva spare cause it was never put togather. There are no motor mounts..ect. It would need a doner raider to fininsh.
These hull handle so awesome. They are light, and turn on a dime. It goes through chop and never, never unhooks!
Thanks guys, I will let you know what we end up doing.

I know I'm far down the line, but I'd buy the whole white ski if you are interested in selling it complete.
