    Lake Sam Rayburn

So it looks like (crossing my fingers) my deal is going through and im getting a lake house on lake sam rayburn (waterview not waterfront).

I find out in a few days if the houses appraises for what my offer is. If it appraises the house is mine and I close March 9th.

So guy/gals, any ideas of were to ride there? We bought the house because my fiance's family is born and raised in Broaddus. So the lake house is near her folks, i fell in love with the area the first time I went home with her to visit family.

The neighborhood I am in is called Sutton hills. It is basically one cove north of jackson hill (close to broaddus).

My fiance obviously grew up on the lake but she did more partying than anything. So I already know about those spots. Is there any hidden gems or coves on the lake I should know about?

I miss that lake. I spent so much time there when I was young. I have never ridden there only fished with my day. I know off topic but just brought back some wonderful memories. I have to do that one weekend. Sorry to hijack but thanks for the memories that were just remembered. I will definately give you a shout if I go up.

it's a beautiful lake but unless you're riding in a protected cove somewhere it's really not that enjoyable because of how rough that lake gets....I've been out there several times fishing tourneys with my dad and we had to literally idle all the way across the lake in a 21ft bass boat because the waves were 4-5 ft....we do go with the skis every year for Memorial weekend but like I said you just end up getting the crap kicked out of you unless you find a cut or cove that's sheltered from the wind.....
