Okay To Run Ski W/O pump in?

Everything goes back together thursday except for the pump. Still waiting on a few parts. Can I run it at idle to make sure everything is okay without the pump in or will the shaft go nuts down there?

Destroy the carbon ring eh? I just don't like how the 42s don't go in as much as the stock rotax injectors and want to test for leaks around the 0-rings. I'm not talking about the dispersion tip length, but how far the actual injector goes in the hole.

yes but that won't tell me if there is a vac leak at the runners I know it's in the rail properly because of the retaining clips. I'm sure it's fine since everyone seems to run the Green Giants. I'm just being difficult due to past history with injector problems

Have you done that? If I remember there is a brass sleeve in there. I have a chew-em-up bit for a dremmel but don't know if it's necessary. I'm already in this for a ton of work and have been neglecting the car.

I used a sanding disc but a file should do the trick.
