Installing ppk & intake grate on Fzr?

Hey guys, got my R&D intake and ppk seal kit from pwcperformance for my new Fzr. I've never installed the ppk before and it came with no instructions or tips but looks simple enough. Should I use a bit of silicone for the plastic kit inserts to hold? It looks pretty simple but is there anything tricky I should know about this? And WOW this intake grate is HUGE! I'll be ordering Jims vxr modded ride plate soon and the other typical fzr mods. First want to see how it feels in mostly stock form. thanks for your input. I'm getting addicted to this forum. My wife is getting jealous. lol

I didnt seal mine. The rubber seemed to be slightly oversized,so I had to compress the two sides pritty good for it to bolt up.So mine sealed really well on its own.

I agree that the rubber seemed oversized. In fact, I cut down about half an inch on the "points" on the piece that goes into the grate because I couldn't get it to fit otherwise. I did use 4200 to seal it, but I've read people all the time who don't seal it.
