    1998 spx, is that year 787 fuel injected or carb....looking for one too.

    i was doing some reading and looking for a 1998 spx or 96xp. going to sell the rxp-x, i like the x4 hull better,i like jumping.lol

    is the 1998 spx 787 fuel injected or are they still carb's.

    any around michigan area that are clean.

    i was almost thinking of making a trip and buying the one guys 1050 in NC, i'm not sure on reliablity on it though

    All spx's were carbed machines.

    98 SPX is the best looking but I'm a little biased

    I sold my RXP and went back to X4 as well. No doubt the smaller skis are just more fun IMO!

    AGREE!!!

    98 spx's are so hot. Something bout the color scheme that just pops. So sexy.

    I love X4's incase my signature didnt give it away

    i have 2 800 x4 hulls but isnt it that the newer rxpx is more fun to drive and faster?

    It may be faster but anyone can drive a rxpx. It actually take some skill to ride an x4. X4 hull keeps the rider part of the ride.

    +1 i am just a fan of x4 hulls.

    Back on topic. It will be hit or miss. You need to see that ski run and hopefully see some compression numbers. That will tell you a lot. Remember, your looking at a ski that is 14-16 years old. You don't want to be stuck with someone elses junk!
