2001 Polaris Genesis oil light motor will not run
I'm looking at a 2001 Polaris Genesis with fuel injection the oil light comes and shuts engine down. What do I need to do to fix the problem and how much do you think it will cost?

I have to ask the obvious question first: Is there oil in the tank? If so, it's likely the oil tank sending unit located on top of the oil tank inside the engine compartment. They dont cost that much to replace. Just pop it out and stick the new one in, no special tools required. If you have plenty of oil in the tank you could just pop it out and make sure the float isnt stuck and that it slides freely up and down the sender. Cheers.
