    2012 RXPX260 Sponsons

Does any one know what size torx I have to get to lower my sponsons?

I read the manuel, and it says you must buy NEW BOLTS every time you change the height of the sponsons.

That's not entirely true. Use blue or red loctite. I changed and moved my brothers several times and no issues yet. Middle is where they were and it's just aggressive enough for both water types. If you lower all of the way, don't forget to lean. It bites HARD! Good luck!

I wouldnt use red loctite as you may have a hell of a time trying to get them back off if you want to re-adjust them,Blue loctite IMO would work perfect for this..

I agree sno! The red I used when I put them in the final adjustment spot that they will stay. But then again, what if I want to move in the future, hopefully heat will do.

New bolts every time? Strange. Liability reasons?

It does say that. I guess thats how they handle liability on an ajustable sponson. It is size 40.
I put the sponsons all the way down And they worked great on the St Johns River where it is very tight.

Speaking of the 2012 rxpx sponsons, will they fit/bolt on to other seadoo models?

You can bolt them onto previous S3 hulls, but you need the adapter plates..The old S3 sponsons bolted right to the hull
