Where can I buy a perm coil to fix head for valve cover bolt?
Do any of the auto store chains have what's needed?
Anyone know exact size needed and what tap is used?

Yes they are available as a kit (Drill, Tap and inserts)from most auto parts stores.

I don't have my manual with me.
Anyone know the thread size of the valvecover bolt?
By the way I don't know how I started this thread in this section?

They are 6 mm x1.0 is the size i used for timesert I'll be honest i tried using helicoil and they sucked.. Go ahead and get timeserts... Work a hell of a lot better.. save you wasted time.. since the bolts are lil weird shaped i had to grind the valve cover bolt down a bit to get it to fit snug and actually seal the gasket to the head.
