    Foam removal on a SHO?

I didnt think the SHO had foam, but I have seen a few sigs with it listed. I took a quick look under the bow and I don't see any foam.

What are the cons of removing this foam? Why was it put there by the factory?

I felt around again, and couldn't feel any. I'm guessing the sig I read was incorrect?

I took the foam out of my 08SHO. Not sure there was any measurable value. You have to remove 4 or 5 bolts on each side panel. One of the bolts is under the instrument cluster cover so you need to take out a few screws there as well. 10 minutes tops.

Without it...if you take on too much water...your boat will sink. That is a fact. Here is some footage from a race: Luckly someone stopped with the tip of the boat poking out of the water.

That ski looked like it was full of water before it turned over. Otherwise why would it just roll over like that when he slowed down?

The camera was on the side my the handle bars. When it slowed it rolled to the left because a person was on it trying to balance and not tip over. Regardless...you don't want to sink. Especially off the coast of Oceanside, CA. Many sharks.

I'm 240 & can board my GPR by stepping in the gunwale without it tipping over. Not doubting you...just don't understand how a ski as big as an FZR would roll over that easy.
