I`d stay with the 4.0. I`m already over the hp and torque numbers that mill can provide. The mpg is way higher than mine but when you look at fuel savings to swap with hydraboost,,,its no where near "bang for buck". But if ya gots tha money and tha time,,,hell why not.

Sweet, but I'm looking for something more along the lines of a factory setup. Both for streetability, emissions, and long term maintainence.

That little diesel they put in the Libby would have been a great little rockcrawler, and decent mileage. But noooooooo, they go stick it in a mall-rat. Wonder if they have the same marketing folks as the watercraft industry?

Well, I hope so. I might transplant one of those. The legality is "possible" on older vehicles.

my understanding was they were waiting because of the new regulations on deisels. the CRD libby was released early enough to be "grandfathered" in, but the wrangler power plant would have to wait until new laws were in effect. there are CRD wranglers/JK's (whatever they're designations is) over seas i believe too.....only time will tell. what i heard from the "rumor mill".
