    walbro pump 08+

    Hello

I know a walbro pump will not fit directly into the 08+ fuel pump location because it is slightly taller than the stock pump. Can anyone tell me how they modified it to work? Trim the pump down, etc?

I currently want to retain the stock FPR if possible. It is going on my 2011 rxpx that will have a vtec flash for 50lb injectors.

    Thanks!
    Mike

Why bother with a walbro with stock FPR and 50s - stock pump will be fine.

Yep, it could be. But the same could happen to the Walbo or any FP for that matter.

Stock pump only has trouble with higher pressure or if you have BIG injectors that flow more than the pump can provide.

You just have to trim the plastic a bit around where the connectors go etc. I also replaced the setup with high pressure fuel line and hose connectors. IMO a bit better than the stock arrangement.

    Thanks ocman,

do you mean trim the plastic on the pump itself or the plastic the pump sits in?
