    Registration number

    where would be a good place to buy the registration numbers for my ski>? thx

    go to a sign shop and get some made. that way you get the font and color you want and they will actually match the ski.

    the problem i have is that its 80+ miles to a sign shop for me. sucks living in the middle of nowhere.....hell its 100+ miles to any desent lake

    I've used these for years and have never been hassled by the Lake Patrol. Some registration numbers are not perfectly legal and some states are nastier about it than others. Most states require the letters to be 3" block in contrasting color, or just black or white in contrast. These look decent enough and can usually do 2 or 3 boats per package and meet the intent, if not the letter of the law. Come in colors, too.

    Yeah, some states are pretty strict. I've never been stopped but I made my numbers stand out. White and red. Its better to have it easily readable then have to redo them because a sheriff had troubles reading it.

    Any pictures? Did they use 3M decals?
