    Question SC shaft replacement opinion??

Trying to figure out at what point do you need to upgrade from the stock SC shaft.
Is it a certain boost pressure?

I say run the stocker dude. Unless you have a bit of extra coin laying around for the 1-piece R&D. IMO if youre careful with it, heat the nut and careful TQ-ing, during wheel removal/install youll be fine. Unless you get a massive wheel, then its probably a good idea to pitch the stock shaft.

i upgraded to R&D shaft because i broke my stock one while removing the wheel. However if you have the $$$ its good to upgrade the stock shaft failures specially with higher boost wheels.

    I agree with this guy,
I have the stock one on a 2010 FZR with an Et15.5 wheel pushing almost 19psi
    And so far so good.

If it brakes I'll change it. But so far so good.
I think it all depends on how well you take care of ur ski, I ride hard but when I jump, turn 180,360 and all that fun stuff I try to keep an eye on my acceleration
