    scratches in gelcoat

after pulling the engine 2 times in one season i have developed a few scratches on the ski. (black) what is the best way to remove them? i have searched around and havent found a clear answer. alot of the products are for heavily oxidized gel coat which i do not have just light scratches.

As long as they don't go the whole way though wet sand them out starting around 800 grit up to 2000grit then polish with a rotary buff.

You just need a high cut compound eg Menzerna Powergloss, Poorboys SSR3
