Question What are you using for camera mounts?

I'm taking it out for the first time since the mods tomorrow and am bringing along my Olympus waterproof. I want both hands on the bars so I need to mount it somewhere. WTF are you all using?

I be afraid of the threads puling out of the bottom of the camera. If you wipe out bad. But they are probably pretty strong.

I plan on tethering it by the neck strap as well just to be safe.

I use a GoPro with the curved mount on my helmet. I like the angle of people being able to see what I see. I was thinking about getting a chest strap though as I really like that view as well. Sometimes I feel a little goofy with the thing on my head but I don't care. I'm being safe with a helmet and capturing all the goodness at the same time.

Add a safety line just for any hard hit you might have. I didn't do it last year but I will this time around. Thankfully no cameras have been lost....yet.

The chest strap is good. The only thing I found is that it needs to be hiked up to near arm-pit height so that you dont get a bunch of the steering pad, at times.
I used one(chest strap) for my "First Ride" video.

I also have a GoPro and use 3 different mounts. I have a suction mount and two fixed mounts. One that is flat that Faces aft just under the tow hook and one curved that faces forward on the hood. I also use a head mount when I wear a hat.

RAM mounts makes mounts for EVERYTHING!
