    Project "Twins"

Well, I traveled to NJ from NY to drop off a tranny for my sisters car and help my parnets move. Figured I would check craigslist while I was down there and this is what I dragged back home..

Most of the info below is per the previous owner, have yet to verify.

    The Good:
    Hulls are in good condition
    Two practically new AGM batteries
    Included a Clymers manual
    Both had OEM covers
One MFD is a replacment 8 pin unit that looks NEW
Included is a brand new spare coil and the previous owner tried to fix the spark issue with it.

    The Bad:
Ski A has a MFD that does not work (original 12 pin)
Ski A has no spark in one cyl
Ski B has no compression in one cyl
    Both stators are not updated
Both are missing the hood struts and one has a cracked hinge where the strut mounts.
Both stators have chunks taken out of them.
One Seat Cover was replaced with black vinyl. It was done professionaly and looks great, just wish it was the factory green.

I figure at minimum, I can make one good ski, prob two with the parts I have kicking around. Price was right, and Im addicted to polaris skis, so this makes 7 and 8. I need help...

They are hard to pass up when they are cheap, and you have a pile of parts laying around.........And time and tools......and a spray gun........and glass....and paint......and a dwindling bank account

Lol I had my eyes on that kawi hull on ebay for $100 but couldn't bring myself to doing it! Did it have the jet pump and instruments on it? If yes that's a mega deal.

Instruments yes but no pump.......had it on my watch list and forgot about it.....Then saw that no-one had bid on it so I emailed him and asked if was happy to get rid of it that cheap....He was so she's gone......wont be working on the Cane forever so I now have one to go straight into once she's done (If theres ever such a thing as a completed project lol theres always something more to add)

Was this the one your referring to?
