7600pm after a ton of mods
Stock I hit 8100 RPM and 64.xx-mph on GPS. Today I ran 69.00 dead on GPS but couldn't break past 7600RPM. WTF!?!? from stock I put on an X-Charger, 42s, 2* wedge, opas pro delete, 14/19R, SF nose cone, new SS wear ring, Riva intake, gutted waterbox, reverse bucket mod, plate holes filled, riva through hull, new plugs and brand new syn oil. Any ideas? I don't have a wrench accurate enough for the inch pound slip on the SC which I think it probably is. Are there any other possibilities?
FYI full tank of gas when it was stock and now both 93 octane. Todays run was 67* water temp, 78* air temp and 7 inch chop.

Did you figure out why exhaust temp went off?
What year and ski?
Did you check slip of the SC before installing?

e-temp is exterior temp there is no readout for exhaust temp.

Did you buy the impeller used? 69 with a 14/19r @ 7600 doesnt sound right.

I agree with Speedskixp something seems odd, and the more I think about it your moving pretty good to be running 69 on rxt (if that's the ski) at 7600 rpm.
Sounds like everything is correct except alot more pitch then can pull.

did you check the clearance between the impeller and wear ring? just a little bit too much clearance makes a very big difference. i replaced mine with a cheap aftermarket one before and i also only had about 7600rpm. replaced it with a real sea doo one and it was back to 8100+

Id have thought it would turn a 14/19 no problems
I have a 15/20 in my GTX with 2mm taken off the trailing edge and worst i get is 7800 rpm on a 42ºC (108ºF) day

Really does not seem there is much wrong besides too much pitch.
Your going to be 72 - 73 range once your rpms are at 8100 rpm.
That is in line with what my rxt ran with x setup.

I just bought the 160* off another member and will have it in soon enough. What's the correct nut TQ on a stock X-SC?
