I believe it should fit with the stock short spacer.

Ya know, after you jogged my memory, I remember the 7.5's running so close that we had to run the long spacers I believe.

I nuked a prop, stub shaft and pump extension trying to run a 7.5 on the stock spacer without modification...

Then I learned and realized all you had to do to the 6 vein to make it work was take the little casting flashes off the outer edge of the veins on the stator...Problem solved...

Ran it like that for a ton of hours and never had another problem...(until I put a swirl on there and had to take it down just a hair more...)

Yeah, I remember now on the six veiner that the 7.5 was so close, that we ran the longer spacer. You're right though Sirhc, it was soooooooo close that it probably could have been done, just wanted to be sure it wasn't gonna hit.

    Nuked.... I like that!!!

Yeah I think I remember doing that during one of those periods where the GPR guys were all talking about how critical it was to have as little space as possible between the prop hub and the stator hub...

So I figured if it was working for them...
