BD, is there any harm in running a s/c from a 215 ski in a 185 even with the different tooth count? essencially they are the same motor i thought or does it mess with the fuelling set up in the ecu? why cant it be done? sorry i'm still a little baffeled by this.

There will definitely be harm! The 215 gear is smaller than the 185 gear...... the results will be a way loose gear mesh on the 185 flywheel. Change out your 185 flywheel with a 215 if you wanna run a 16 tooth charger.

What about changing the gear on the S/C..... Putting the larger 17 tooth gear on the 215 S/C so it will fit the 185.
