WVT1100 compression test, choke open or closed?
going to look at a 96 WVT1100 tomorrow for my 1st ski
last seller insisted on pulling out the choke when I did the compression test - read 125 across all 3. deal fell thru anyways........
when I do this ski tomorrow should I bother with the choke? did not find any info pertaining to this. all I found is cold engine, battery full, plugs in, ground plug wires, wot, good o-ring on tester, no smoking. thx

Do not pull the choke out when doing a compression test. it will restrict the air flow to the engine and give you an inaccurate reading.
