    fairings/cowlings

    how do you remove the fairings/cowlings. i took the bolts near glove the 2 at bottom and 2 in the hood area what am i missing???

    That is it. Just pull. There are two clips on the top that sound like you broke something when you pull it apart! Hold as close to them as you can.

    thanks i heard them pop and stopped but now that i know , a pulling i will go.

    One up, over the storage bin on the inside.
    Two at the bottom in the footwells.
    The one for each side, AND don't drop the little bracket.

    After that, it's stop, drop and pop the panels off. Straight is good, crooked breaks a tab.

    I bet there is a tool somewhere for this...

    Mark, the tool is the biggest one you have to have to work on one of these things. PATIENCE!!!!!

    thanks Mark, i took 1 off kinda made me leary but, all is good hopefully i wont break em upon re install. like a idiot i am doing 5 different things at once on the ski and have to be done in the morning for some ridding.

    good luck dude this was one of the hardest things i had to do on the whole ski... go slow dont break those hoes!! putting em back on is literally a snap.. haha i make funny
