    need help acceleration and top speed between 15/20 and 15/22

    Hi top riders from the usa

    My friend did a race yesterday with a rxtx 260 homemade flaps, my supercharger (et 68/140) aftermarket admission, aftermarket lemoine ecu 8700rpm, riva valve train.

    The problem is that he has on his ski a solas 13/18. From reading on you're all experience and from what I saw during the race I found that the solas 13/18 give him good acceleration but low top speed. He was like 116km/h on speedo with rrpfr at 45 psi and stock injectors.

    It appears that on the greenhulk store, when you buy a Vtech ecu with 8800rpm they preconize you to buy the solas 15/22.

    My question is: if he put the 15/22 will he gain top speed compare to the 13/18 and will he loose or gain acceleration? he doesn't want to loose acceleration and the races he does are mainly OFFSHORE.

    Can you please help me?

    Please read again. The recommendation is the 15/20R impeller.
    Any ski turning 8100 or more we recommend the 15/20R impeller.

    For the stage 1 tune and stock boost levels the 15/22R is recommended for 2010 and older skis and 15/20R is recommended for 2011 skis due to the difference in nozzle sizes.

    oups my bad.... But compare to the 13/18 will he gain top speed ? and acceleration on the rxtx 260?

    A 13/18 doesn't sound tall enough to me for your setup. What rpms are you turning?

    If you go to the 4 blade you will definitely pick up top speed but you will sacrifice some hole shot.

    the thing is that I have a 15/20 on my ski so he wants to try it but it's a 3 blade not 4... so I don't know if it's going to be good skat trak 15/20 on a rxtx 260

    Sorry friend, you run to 45psi? is low, stock is 58 psi youe engine running good? on my 2010 with 83mm nozle with 13/18 Skat and rpm 8940 top spped is 118 km/h and with 15/20 is 124km/h with skat i have dragster .

    As I thought, he's on the limiter with that prop. He could add pitch to his prop and pick up some more speed, but it will still be a few mph behind a 4 blade. My ski has similar mods and runs a skat 15/19 +1 mm and runs 120km/h @ 8520.

    Well he put the rrpfr to 45psi, if you think he should put more please tell me I'm always willing to learn . Great input your rpm is speedo or GPS? the 15/20 prop is a 3 blade or 4 blade?
