Best PWC anchor?

What I'm going to do this summer when I'm camping at the lake and have the ski in the water close to the bank to keep from beaching it. Take a concrete block with a chain and anchor off the shore in 3-4 foot of water and tie a bouy to the top and just attach it to the ski but make the rope short enough to stay taught

Another trick I use is to tie the boat from the front to a tree on shore, and the back, to another tree-that way it's "anchored", but still floating and not beached.

What keeps the ski from sliding to the beach along that length of rope? A few knots that you undo and redo every time you do this?

I would love to buy a cooper anchor over here in the states but no one is selling them. I find them on ebay from time to time but people want an insane amount of money to have on shipped here. Id get one if we had a group buy and the price was right.

I heard back from them & was told he's expecting to have a freight forwarder setup for US customers in July. I'm planning to try & put together a group buy with our soflariders club because he said they'll do every 5th one free on a larger order. The discount & bulk shipping should hopefully keep the cost reasonable. If you or anyone else is interested in throwing in with us shoot me a pm sometime in June.

I just bougth this anchor for my STF15F



Usually i use my ski on choppy water, so i need to know if this is the best anchor for me, or i need to change it for this one

I have the first on as well. I have used in once on a sand shore in West Lake Ontario, Canada. I ride there all the time. The coating is peeling off mine and exposing a lot of rust. I covered it with rust inhibitor at the end of the season. I always beach my ski at West Lake, i like to keep it close to me when I am on land and out of the way of other boaters. But when I go to the other side of the pennisula to Lake Ontario, I use my anchor on the rock bottom close to shore.
