    SHO Nozzle - $197?

I was looking at swapping out the steering nozzle on our GP1200R just so the plastic one doesn't break. I read the SHO nozzle fits and was dirt cheap, but when I checked into it, it's $197? Am I looking at the right thing?

your quoting the price of the pump nozzle...you want what they label "nozzle deflector"...$46.....no speed gain but steering/handling is a little tighter and it looks better....A bunch of GPR guys got them for $25 which was the price a few yrs back...Think Yamaha wanted to cash in so they raised the price...

Oh ok, that's a little better. We're taking these to Ohio this summer and it's a 475 mile trip, just didn't want to ruin it with a broken nozzle.

Yeah, it would suck to suddenly be without steering, or even loose it in one direction. Things happen too fast out there to be able to figure out what's happening, then react to it. Not that you'd have many options. I think it would just be a "this is gonna hurt" moment.

Does this fit our 1200XLT as well?

Yep, should fit. I've got HO nozzles on both 03-XLT and 06-GPR.
