300x 2011 green for $10,800 or 2012 for $11800
Those are the prices my dealer gave me + tax and reg. The 2012 has better financing at 1.99 vs 6.99 but that 2011 green is so nice. Which would you buy?

I have the 2012 without the decals. I think it looks better without and replaced the blue 300x with green. What was kawasaki thinking?

We are also looking at a 300 (but the LX model). One dealer said the 1.99 was only for 2011 but another one was able to get us approved at 1.99 for 60 for a 2011 ultra 300 LX. I really hope its not a stupid sales gimmick to get is in to the store because they are over an hour away (fingers crossed). I would haggle with them a little more, if one dealer can do 1.9 on a 2011, they all should be able to. But then again, my dealer may just be trying to screw me. Either way, i'd go with whichever you get 1.9 for (as long as its in green)

Has the said dealer got a web site? Link?
And don't even start on fuel/gas costs with petrol at £1.40 a Litre£2.10 lite, which I guess would be about $9 Gallon!

Is There Any Difference
Is there any difference - upgrades, product improvements, possibly steering head feel is "snugger" on the 2012 vs. the 2011?
I searched the Archives - yet could not find a definitive answer. Maybe the issue was with my search parameters?

Welllll, I got mine
The "snooping" and shopping is over, and I have made my decision to stay with the Kawasaki Product Line:
I am having "mixed feelings" about parting with my Ultra-150 as I learned a great deal about every aspect of this machine and it served me well for soooooo many years:
My 2012 Kawasaki Ultra-300x (Green) is still in the crate - but not for long
I know "heat cycling" a fresh engine is a good technique as well as varying RPM, and not getting into boost immediately is probably best - and I am wondering if there is an existing post - or possibly someone will be kind enough to share with me proper break-in process?
As always - Many Thanks!!!
