Maybe the local Yami dealer can give you a crate. Spaceport
Yamaha just takes them apart and trashes them.

    Hey Bill,

I bought the GP 800 hull from a guy in Illinois and had it shipped to Alberta Canada. I went through freightquote.com I had the guy put it on a pallet, he put some sort of dense foam inbetween the hull and the pallet then encolsed the pallet with quarter inch plywood. It turned out great, made it to me without any issues.

I think it cost about $550 Canadian for the shipping and arrived in just under 2 weeks. It costs much less if the shipper will drop it off at a truck terminal and if you pick it up at the truck terminal (that's what I did).

Also another company that is supposed to be really good is forward air. They didn't offer service to Canada so I couldn't use them. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I've personally had great luck shipping a crated motor to Florida from Texas via Unishippers, they used (R.L. Carriers) for the transport.
They had an 18 wheeler come to my house and they wheeled it on the truck with a Pallet Jack.

I've also had a ski shipped from Alabama via U-Ship.com. Works, kinda like ebay.
