"performance/technical" or "bulls**t/off topic" section?
Bored, and have a question...
Often I've wondered about this forum section. Why does it most resemble the "performance" section? Isn't "open discussion" a section for "off topic" posts? Most forums have an "off topic" section. Yet, this one most resembles a technical section, leaving behind no real "off topic" section.
Anybody else wonder about this?

Check out the Motec Section sometime. I think it will always happen that someone will start a new thread in the wrong section. Its not that big of a deal. Sooner or later they learn to post in the right section to get a better response. JMO
It wouldn't matter, if they changed the title of this section or not.

And if the name was changed to "off topic", it would be much more self explanatory...even more than "open discussion". It's just weird that there's no place for general bullshit conversations in such an established forum.

one thing we do need is separate sections in the classifieds for stuff for sale and want to buy. it sucks looking in it and see half of the posts are just want to buy.
