The President asked us to conserve gas so..................

those of us up in Minnesota are putting our skis away until next year.......

I would think that you folks down south would show some love and put yours away as well.

If you do not, your a "gas waster"!!!

    Jeff,
Good post and I am sure all of us southerners will comply!

Although I will not be putting my skis in storage for the winter, I will conserve. I have decided that I will ride less in the winter. I wont ride after 7pm all winter.

And just to make you very happy, when the temps here go match yours I will stop riding too.

So you see, I am patriotic!

How long is your riding season up there? In the winter here I do wear a wetsuit. Can you prolong your season if you used a dry suit or does the water freeze this early?

Oh, and if we still have this gas situation next summer I am glad to hear that you will not be a "gas waster" (that will leave more for us hogs)

Just keep sucking back all that gas guys. The economy just keeps getting better and better up here as you use more fuel. If we keep going at this rate not only will Alberta not pay income taxes, it may go right across the country.
    Keep up the good work!

Hhehehehe, jack the ice does not get off the lakes until the end of March, and comes back on in late November.

So, unless you have a drysuit, which I do, your riding season up here is from late May+- to mid September+-.
