    can you bore or sleeve this MR-1 engine??

    I have an 08 fx cruiser ho...with a somewhat toasted engine...CAN YOU SLEEVE THESE ENGINES??....CAN YOU BORE THIS ??...ANYONE

    where can I get this done?? or is it worth getting a used steel sleeved set of cases??

    any decent machine shop should be able to bore and sleeve any engine. i used to get mercedes sprinter sleeves fitted to my lotus carlton engine as the sleeves were stronger. the engine did not have sleeves originally.
