Kawasaki v Seadoo Aussie Smackdown w/video

    Hey Guys,

We had our inaugural Kawasaki v Seadoo Smackdown on Sunday.

Truth be told we have one of these every second weekend, just this time we decided to get it on video for everyone to see.

So without further ado, here is our weekend of fun (watch in HS for it's full glory)

How did the 2012 P-X compare to the RXT-X in the rougher water?

    Thanks

It handles the rough better than the RXTX he could not keep up in the big chop we had today!

    Great video first of all.

I can't help but get the idea from the video that the new RXPX has better holeshot (camera ski get beat of the line each time)?

What was your feel on holeshot and mid-range acceleration (300x vs new RXPX)

With all jokes aside it has a great holeshot. I think if we pulled the trigger at exactly the same time the holeshots are probably the same. If you watch the runs closely you'll spot the split second difference. There is one of Paul and the other 300x (Jim's) take off. Jim pulls the trigger a split second later, but you see it jump out hard just like the RXP-X.

There is nothing in it. The 2012 RXP-X is an awesome ski. Holeshot is great, rough water is great (better than the RXT-X) and top speed (on the RS) is probably 71/72 MPH.

    Cheers, Mal.

Hey Jim, every time you were on the throttle I kept looking for my race bike! It's sounds sweet!

What revs does yours do if you pin the throttle from idle? I never noticed it before. I would think this is normal (a little cavitation probably but would think it's normal???)
