My lucky day.
Went to do my motor alignment. Bolted up the stator, slid the alignment tool in and..............straight into the coupler!!!!!!!! SWEET!!!!!!!! I was planning on messing around all evening with that. Now I can put the steering cable in and bolt up the pump. Might be running in a week!!!!!

That alignment is going to change once you put the engine mount nuts on and tighten them down.

I was very careful torqueing them down and it held alignment. If anything it got a little better. I got the whole jet pump, ride plate and intake grate installed. Newly rebuilt jet pump, almost mint 202 prop, OP ride plate, 6 degree wedge, and a R&D grate. Steering and reverse set up and adjusted. Installed my traction mats. Primed the pipe, water box, and water rail to be painted the matching blue that the hood is. All I have left is to do is the install of the carbs, exhaust, cooling hoses, and final hook ups of all the wiring.
