    Head gasket doesn't line up?

I replaced the oil jet with the one from the store here and the head gasket is not centered with the oil jet, wtf? Also I can't get the jet to sit flush with the block. I'm afraid of hitting it any harder and breaking it and don't want to pay for another one plus a mind blowing 15 dollars for shipping (yes I used a piece of wood) Anybody seen this before? the old gasket fits exactly the same.

Great advice as usual... Clean teh gasket up with a dremel a little bit if the dowels are in and its still not lining up.

This is an issue and should be remedied...

    That's strange.
As inkaddict says...clean it up with a dremel, but be very carefully you don't slip.
