    300 idler pulley

    anyone had to replace the idler pulley bearing yet? mine is showing signs of being a little loose replacing it tomorrow.

    How many hrs. ? You cant just replace the bearing ether you have to buy the whole pulley. FYI there a little sloppy anyways.

    56hrs all replaced tommy they are just a press in bearing, new bearing is much tighter 6203 C3, old bearing was much more sloppy than the new one i didnt want to chance it over a $4.00 replacement.

    Can you send me info on where to Buy one that's Good to know. I know Kawi only sell the whole thing together. Hmm maybe the looser bearing acted as a dampener lol

    its just a standard bearing tommy, available at any bearing outlet, the C3 is for a looser bearing clearance designed for highspeed.

    i can confirm new bearing is so much tighter than the old, the pulley does not rock anymore pulled seals on old bearing it was still ok no rust or water just a little worn i guess.

    yeah,,mine had a bit of play since new as well.I will look into replacing the bearings also.Thanks for the info.
