    battery

i have a 07 seadoo rxt. i need a new battery. i searched the internet and there are a ton of options. do i need a specific cca or ah or is any 12v jet ski or motorcycle battery that fits good to go. i like the interstate FAYTX20HL-PW. it is 310 cca and 18ah. i know the battery i had in the ski before was 30ah. does this make a differance? has anyone ran this battery before? will this work fine for my ski?

Stick with the 30 series..A 20wont be enough to do the job properly and may die sooner since it is stressing to do the job...

Picked up my seadoo 06 just a month ago. Battery was dead, i charged it and runs well up to today. However i can not find out if this is an oem battery (i mean the original battery the ski came with 6 years ago). Does anyone know how i can check if my battery will stay up to the job for this season?

Thats what i thought in the first place...however i just came from the dealer who had serviced it last season and he told me this battery was placed 2 seasons ago, and thus i decided to keep it for this season as well. I ll just wait and see if everything will be ok.....in a couple of weeks i ll have my first run in the water and i ll try to push the battery a bit and see if it has any problems keeping up with it.
