    Pump oil seal orientation

Have a pump, but forgot how the top seal goes in. Manual not much help and search didn't produce much direction. Does it go:

Inner seal with lip/spring out to impeller:

Outer seal hardened ring to bearings

    Any help is great.

Look in 'Yamaha How to and FAQs' 6 sticky's up from the bottom is 'Pump Assembly' by Fercho. It shows you the whole job with pics of the seal orientation. I followed it and it works fine! Sorry I can't link to it for you, but I don't know how to! Cheers, Dave.

Thanks. Not able to download on my phone. Figured it out by looking closely at the remnants of the seals.
