2006 Yamaha Fx 140 with water in engine

    Hi

My brother has a 2006 Yamaha FX 140 and is having some problems. We have been told that salt water has been found in each cylinder when the spark plugs were removed and all the inlet valves are not closing/sealing properly. Yes the pwc was towed home.

What are peoples thoughts on this? Bottom end damage?/Top end damage?....Isn't it weird that just the inlet valved are not closing properly and the exhaust valves are fine?

The motor wont start and their is no compression across all cylinders.

    regards,
