500ma fuses!. The almost impossible ones to find..for me anyway.

I have about 45---- 1/2 amp fuses for the e-box. Let me know if ya need some extra.. This is a big bonus for me finding these.. Can't find these at Lowes or Home Depot. I will check each one for continuity before I mail them to ya. NICE to have extra laying around. You won"t find these at a gas dock or gas station

What uses a 1/2 amp fuse? MFD only uses a 1/4 amp.

Question before I let any go.... what voltage is needed on the fuses? I know It's a 1/4 amp but which voltage rating is ok to use with a MFD? 125 volt or the 250 volt? does it matter? I have the 250 volt 1/4 amp version. The filament is almost invisible!

Shouldn't matter. We are talking about 12 volts here and a dead short condition. I don't see anyway that the MFD could be overloaded causing a high ampere draw and blow a fuse....

Voltage does not matter as long as it is rated for at least what you are putting thru it.

The newer style mfd's in the 99+ that have a 100% failure rate blow them as they are failing due to an over current situation. I also have 1 old style oval MFD that had an issue with the internal voltage regulator an was poping 1/4 fuses, but not 1 amp fuses.

I should have clarified with "with the exception of internal issues and or failure". Good point.
