Florida Keys Riding
I'm new to jetskiing in the lower florida keys. I'm located next to big pine key. What are the best places to ride to and have fun in?

I go there in the summer a lot, stay at a house in Marathon really close to the seven mile bridge. Thats the only thing in between us actually. I typically just right outside the canal and go back and forth, i have a blast but if you want more some like going to small reefs and going through the mangroves. http://pwcpilot.com/places-to-ride-a...oe-county.html That looks fun!

Does anyone know of any hotels/bed in breakfast/motel in Key West Florida that they can recommend that allows jetski's. This will be our first trip to Key West in September 2012. Any info is appreciated.

Ive stayed at the Marriott in Key Largo. They were jetski friendly and have their own ramp right there in the parking lot and a nice beach etc. BUT it's in Key Largo. Not key west!

Be aware that on the north side of the entire chain there are a lot of sanctuaries that are off limits. Everything that is part of the national park on the north side is off limits. The park boundaries are well marked on the map and there are signs but if you don't see one it is not a excuse. On the south side it is all ok but EXPECT to get pulled over. Make sure your registration and safety equipment are ready. Be very aware of no wake and slow speed zones. The Keys have lawn enforcement everywhere. Other than that have fun.

Lower Keys are not that Jeski friendly and kinda rocky. You would be better off heading up north to Islamorada area and hanging out at sandbar and staying at Holiday Isle.

I'm open to any suggestions. Just with traveling from New Orleans area to the Keys I would hate not to stay/visit Key West. Is the Islamorada area near bye? Nothing is booked yet, I'm looking to head that way in September. Just didn't want to wait to the last minute to have a plan.
Thanks Duke for the info again
