    AFR Gauge question

Guys I looked in the store and I am looking for an AFR gauge? I want to add some mods and I know I should keep an eye on my AFRs Where can I get a gauge how hard is it to install? Can I weld the o2 bung in myself or is there a special process/

the easiest is the AEM uego. no calibration needed. just plug it in and you are done. i have been using one for the past few years in my car and they are great. ebay is a good place to get one. welding all depends on you. for example if you have a stainless pipe and stainless bung and the right setup to weld it, then you can do it yourself.

I have a innovate mtx-l, very simple to use. I bought mine brand new on ebay. There's a how to on the o2 bung in the j pipe, but I'd suggest having someone that does them all the time do it unless you are confident in your skill.

Id hardly call that a good thing, means the gauge is not taking into account the differences between individual sensors.

Id go MTX-L but seal the face up before you use it.

the sensors are calibrated at AEM. you have to use their sensor, not just any wideband bosch sensor.

Sensors change over time, sensors die (then what?)

    Calibrating the MTX-L is easy

Turn on with no sensor attached, turn off
Turn on with sensor attached (while not installed in manifold) will heat and calibrate in 30 secs.

    Good to go!

Well I had a LC-1 when they first came out and it was the biggest POS I have ever used. It would lose calibration, eat sensors, and generally not work. I have had the same AEM for about 7 years now and it has been perfect. I replaced the sensor once when I built a motor, but the original sensor was still working perfect.

Where did you mount the gauge? are the not waterproof is that why you need to seal it up? Are all the exhausts stainless? Does the gauge come with a bung or is there a place in the Seadoo store to buy them. I would like to support the site if I can.
