I figured it had to do with not giving it enough gas, I just didn't want to exceed the breakin period of going over 1/2 or 3/4 throttle.

Ok, so I pick my seat up tomorrow...I took it to the trim shop yesterday an they called me late today and said it was ready!!!!

They put plastic on like I asked, but I am not sure if they wrapped all the foam in plastic or if they just did the bottom...The shop has a new lady working there and she is hard to understand, so I will know exactly what they did when I pick it up....I will post pics of my seat tomorrow!!!!!

What cover do you go with? The only one I have seen is the Jettrim. I like it but I would need the stiching done in silver.

I think that's available special order - I just ordered one, all black, black stitching as I'm going murdered-out on my new one.

Cool, eager to see pics. I ended up just siliconing over the holes on the bottom of the seat. Seat still gets wet and heavy but no water drips out the bottom anymore.

I also used silicone to create water channels under the small storage box to divert any water that splashes in through the vents either side of the handlebars. The water just runs off to the sides and you can't see any silicone with the seat on. I'll post some pics when I can get them in the daylight.

Ok, so I got my seat and I LOVE IT!!!!! The trim shop was able to remove the factory seat cover, cover my foam in plastic and then put the new cover on it..

My ski is in a storage unit so when I picked up my seat from the trim shop I took it into the show room and put it on one of our boats so I could get some pics for you guys..I will be putting it and my sponsons on my ski this weekend!!!!
