I was tapping the limiter but I wasn't really all over it or anything. Might get the prop pitched in the future but I like the stock one for the hole shot.

It was hard to tell much from the short time I had it on the flat water but everything seemed a little bit better and I could smell it was running a bit richer so that's a good thing as far as I'm concerned.

Errr 1/2" sounds like a lot... I'd have your dealer check that. Mine normally has more like 1/8" play.
    Excelent!

I have some play as well, how much I don't know

Are you going to get a V-Tech and run the 8350?

I highly recommend it. I can see it being really great with a 4" air intake and bigger I/C maybe.

Just need to find some damn 4" kanaflex locally so I can finally do my air filter.

Maybe later on, the stock 71 MPH+ is good enough for me.
I know it will sound stupid, but I use more often my PX is offshore than around bouy.

I'm not tired yet with the stock speed

Hi all, great thread your having.

Saw that cruise is only an option on this ski, which I find strange. What does it cost as I assume that its only software based, not needing any hardware with fly by wire ???

    Gaz

$205 plus install. Includes a special handlebar button that you need, the rest is software based I think.

Also here's seadoos 2012 product brochure with all accessories for all models:

Has no prices but you can find them by googling the part numbers listed.

Thats weird. The dealer must be able to set it with BUDS. I'm at 42hrs and I still haven't seen a maintenance light.

I got a 10 hr service at the dealer when the ski was at 13hrs and just did one myself at 40hrs.

They probably just set it 2 hours early to give you some warning.
