Do not forget that the PX hull was made so it stick to the water.
So yeah I will feel heavier and less playfull.
Also the PX doesn't like to ride slowly, you have to make the ski plane!

Hey guys wanted to let u know of a couple problems already for me, 1st when i took delivery it had a GTI hood for some reason. No big deal, dealership replacing but it is backordered. 2nd thing is after refueling, a few drops of gas fell on mirror and turned the gelcoat white instantly. This is being replaced as well. Dissappointed with these issues, but compared to my 98 gsx and pro1200 this thing is amazing.
I am wondering if anyone else has had issues with the gelcoat, Thanks (hope i didn't highjack this tread)

picked mine up on saturday night. . . fun ski . . . put 3 hours on by monday morning . . . handles chop better than my 08 t-x. add mine to list that pulls to the right when bars straight. played with adjuster in front of motor and measured bar and nozzle alignment -- it seemed to be dead on but still have to cock bars slightly left to go straight. anyone have any luck dialing in the steering?

I'm considering shaving a little bit off my right rear trim tab to compensate as i get more right-pull when at higher speeds. Seems like that will fix it, I'll let you know how it goes. Just have to be careful to do tiny bits at a time so it doesn't start pulling left instead.

MY GTR does the same thing. Dealer adjusted the bars and I still have to be a little to the left. Must be an issue with BRP and the newer 2012 models.

Well my ski is ready. Got the new carbon ring on.
Installing dual 1100 pumps this week.... Before I take it out.
    Not messing around this time.

After reading this forum quite heavily over the past year (especially threads like this one), I finally made an "impulse" buy of a 2012 RXP-X 260 that the dealer had out front. I managed to get four hours on it this weekend, and this thing is a blast! It's certainly a different ride than my two 2011 RXT-X 260s that I spent a lot of time on last year. Thanks to all of the reports here, I had my dealer check and adjust the steering before delivery, and it appears to be perfect so far. The only teeny, tiny gripe I have so far is that the fire extinguisher storage spot is waaaaaaaay in the front of the front storage compartment and pretty much impossible to reach while out on the water. Also, my air temperature gauge (the little number in the bottom left) stopped working after about 30 minutes.

I have the Fizzle 4" air setup, catch can, and a Solas SRZ 15/20 ready to install after break-in, and want to educate myself a little better on these things before doing the V-Tech ECU tune.

I like this. 2200 GPH is safe as houses.

    Nice, congratulations on the purchase.

The V-Tech 8350 tune is great and would be a very good idea if you are going to do the 4" air because it has richer fuel mapping than the stock ECU. The stock mapping is already dangerously lean and anything you do that makes it leaner (air intake, intercooler, supercharger upgrades) could mean bad news. In saying that though, the air intake alone shouldn't make a huge difference to your air/fuel ratio.

Fizzle itself said that the stock 2011+ airbox is pretty good for stock boost/wheel.
I will save my money for a beefier intercooler especially in hot country!
